OUR PROGRAM
The FOREST PARK Baseball Program is open to all children between the age of 5 and 15. League age is determined by the child's age as of APRIL 30,
2010.
EVERYONE WHO SIGNS UP IS ASSIGNED TO A TEAM, NO ONE IS CUT.
Each player receives a quality uniform consisting of a Team jersey, hat, pants, belt and socks, which are theirs to keep.
Five & six-year-olds play in the TEE BALL league where the players hit off a tee.
Seven & eight-year-olds play in the PEEWEE league where the coaches pitch to their own
teams.
Nine & ten year olds play in the MINOR League, and the eleven & twelve year olds play in the MAJOR league,
in these leagues the players pitch.
ALL TEE BALL THRU MAJOR LEAGUE GAMES ARE PLAYED AT WOODWARD PARK. Games begin the
first week of May and Intramural league post-season tournaments end the second week in July.
Thirteen-Fifteen year-olds play in the PONY League. Pony games may be played at
Woodward Park or at various sites. Pony league teams start after
the middle school and high school seasons finish (usually late
May) and continue into late July or early August.
Post season All-star Traveling Teams are selected for Pee-Wee, Minor & Major leagues, and play in tournaments throughout Central Ohio during July and August. There is an additional fee for these All-star teams.
